The Story behind the Fundraiser

In the blinding darkness of suffering, it’s easy to lose sight of God.

It’s easy for our minds to wander and for us to doubt the goodness of God in circumstances that are anything but good.

But Mathew 6:30 reminds us, “And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?”

We are excited to announce our first annual, online fundraiser: “In His Words” Children’s Art Auction.

We have invited the children of 10+ Southwest Florida families (ages 3-14 years) to create a masterpiece reflective of Matthew 6:30.

These children are

the siblings of NICU graduates,

the siblings of those navigating childhood cancer,

children who themselves are navigating illness,

and the siblings of children who have passed.

As they paint a beautiful canvas of wildflowers, they will reflect on what they have endured.

The masterpiece will serve as a visual reminder that despite our suffering, God cares so much for us.

Monies raised will fund our monthly outreach which currently exceeds $5,800.
