You're a mother.
You'll forever be a mother
Because God gifted you with life,
A good and perfect gift from above.
Just as He created something out of nothing in the creation of the world,
He created something remarkable with the smallest unit of life.
In a mother’s womb, He knit together the form of a child.
And whether or not you ever saw that child,
Whether or not you held them in your arms,
Whether or not you shared that baby with the world,
That gift was your child.
Your child is real.
Your child is loved.
Your child is missed.
Though their life transitioned to Heaven,
Though they are absent from your embrace,
That child is present with the Lord.
More alive than we can imagine,
A part of you, yet transformed into their Heavenly form,
Your child is eternal, forever and completely His.
You’re a mother.
You’ll forever be a mother.
On behalf of Praying Through ministries, we wish you a very gentle Mother’s Day. We pray you feel the enormity of your worth and purpose as a mother, even though motherhood may look differently than you envisioned.
